Freelance Writer’s Resouces

Published by tirzahhawkins at 5:57 am under Writing Resouces Edit This

There are two very helpful books out there that a freelance writer can purchase to find writing jobs.  One is called Writer’s Market and the other is The Best of the Magazine Markets for Writers.  Both are published yearly and contain valuable information about submission requirements for current magazines.

Go to your local bookstore and look through both books before deciding which one fits your needs or style.

In each book, you will find what magazines are looking for in current submission, what they will pay you for your article, and how to submit your article or story to the magazine.

I recommend buying one of these books and taking them home as there is too much information to write down after looking at it for a couple of minutes or hours.  They contain a wealth of information.

They are the ultimate bible for writers. There’s also Poet’s market, Songwriter’s Market and Screenplay Market.
